It's all too easy to lose ourselves in our work. Every now and again, as we swing through the concrete jungle, it's nice to get a little shot-out for all the long hours. These marquees were created to increase intra-office morale and announce employee birthdays with New York City flair.

The Challenge
Create visually striking digital marquees that feel celebratory without being cheesy, and maintain visual interest across repeated viewings in a high-visibility Times Square office environment.
The Solution
The solution called for the "Big 3" of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Animate, and Adobe Premiere for various elements. Video footage was imported with elements isolated using ChromaKey. Famous backdrops were placed prominently in the background with animated elements within themselves to offset the name-scroll. The lights in the buildings on either side of the Brooklyn Bridge flicker like fireflies on a warm July evening. Footage featuring the actual future location of Time Out Market is featured prominently to balance recognition with focus on corporate directives.
Impact
Delivered ongoing monthly content that became a beloved internal tradition at Time Out New York, creating visible recognition for team members while reinforcing the company's NYC identity.
