Polycystic kidney disease (PKD), an incurable genetic disorder which impairs kidney function, impacts millions of families around the world. The PKD Foundation commissioned digital assets and collateral to bring awareness to a Pedal for PKD charity cycling event.

The Challenge
Create event materials that convey the urgency of the PKD cause while remaining inviting and energetic for a charity cycling audience. The design needed to foster a sense of preparedness and motivate participation.
The Solution
The design juxtaposes the slate and utilitarian elements of a bicycle (pedal, metal) with the eager expression of the photographed model. Stock images were retouched and composited in Adobe Photoshop. Print vendors were sourced according to ability to reproduce close-to-screen hue vibrancy.
Impact
Supported the PKD Foundation's fundraising efforts, producing materials that communicated both the event and the cause to potential participants and donors.
