The design is built around a circular mosaic centerpiece in alternating blue and orange tiles pulled directly from the NYC flag's color palette. Most viewers will feel "New York" without registering why. The radial sunburst pattern with concentric rings separated by mauve grout reads like classic subway station tilework, grounding the identity in borough-level authenticity.
Typography reinforces the tension between warm and cool. "Jimmy's" runs in copper-orange script with a blue outline centered over the mosaic, while "Grand" and "Café" flank it in chrome-blue beveled lettering. That script-versus-chrome contrast creates clear visual hierarchy. Retro diner objects in reflective 3D chrome, plus a mirrored blue foreground surface, pull the whole composition into Art Deco nostalgia without overplaying it.
